I posted this just for some information about daily needs and "foods" to be avoided..

Take enough proteins.. (0.8 grams per Kg body weight)
Avoid Trans-Fat and Saturated Fat, but do consider about essential fatty acids intake, such as Omega-3 and Omega-6! (in average, man needs 1.6g/day of Omega-3 and 17g/day of omega-6 ; woman needs 1.1g/day of Omega-3 and 12g/day of Omega-6). Salmon is a good source of essential fatty acids.

Dietary fiber is important to reduce constipation
and help to maintain a good condition of intestines. We need about 12.5 grams of fiber per 1000 kcal consumed. It is high in fruits and vegetables.
Antioxidant is one of the way to reduce the risk of diseases, especially cancer. Since nowadays we know that there are lots of free radicals around us, antioxidant is very important. For instance, t could be beta-carotene from carrots, lycopene from tomatoes, Vitamin A, C, and E from other fruits, vegetables, grains, poultry, and fish.

Vitamins and minerals needs to be fulfilled to maintain body system to work properly. But excess consumption might cause overdose of vitamins and minerals, which can cause several disorders. So, it is important to know the daily value of it and consume them at the right dose.
Other things is about choice of raw materials and method of cooking.
Choose the best raw materials, such as low fat or fat-free ingredients. But do consider about synthetic food additives, such as aspartame, cyclamate, saccharin, based upon its' Acceptable Daily Intake. If you could, avoid those food additives. Especially nowadays, so many products with zero sugar, yet they contain lots of food additives which are not good for our health.
Also avoid consuming food that are not processed in a clean area and method. Sometimes people don't think about microbes, bacterium, viruses, and so on. Be careful.
Method of cooking, avoid deep frying especially with oils containing lots of trans or saturated fatty acids. Poaching is better. ^^
